I studied for a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics at the University of Žilina in Slovakia, usually referred to as UNIZA.
The programme gave me a broad foundation in algorithms, object-oriented programming, database systems, software modelling, probability and statistics, data science, and even the basics of economics. I finished the degree after pandemic restrictions eased, with a self-built web blogging platform for aviation fans as my final project.
It was also during these studies that I had the opportunity to start my first internship at PosAm.

After graduating, I briefly enrolled in the Master’s programme in Computing Systems at UNIZA. Once it started, though, I realized I wanted to broaden my horizons and step further outside my comfort zone.
That led me to apply for the Distributed Systems and Software Engineering Master’s programme at the University of Groningen.
